Assuming an abnormal postures may cause structural and physiological changes in the body, thereby resulting in skeletal deformities and chronic pain.

Chronic pain can be of different forms, that mostly can affect the neck (chronic cervical pain), upper back (thoracic pain), lumbar(low back pain), shoulder pain, wrist pain, knee pain etc.

These pains mostly arise as a result of poor posture.

Posture must be of much concerned in as much as chronic pain remains as a socio-economic burden.

Bad postures can result in the numerous skeletal deformities such as scoliosis, kyphosis, lordorsis, and sway back.
A good posture would prevent these deformities and chronic pain. Hence, functional activities done with good postures would create a serene environment for the body structures, thereby maintaining their function.

With all these awareness created on the impact of posture on the body, if due to bad posture, one develops any of the deformities and or chronic pain, then, physiotherapy is the best option to looking forward to in the treatment.

Avoid the use of opioids for managing pain; as this would have negative impact on human life.
