It could be seen from the Anteriopostetior(APV) view, that the lion has not swallowed the head of the little lion. Whereas, it is more obvious in the lateral view(LV), the lion has get the head of the little lion fully swallowed. Therefore, both views are equally important for proper diagnosis in an X-ray prescription.

These bones lie on each other and separated from each other by cartilage containing fluid-filled substance called synovial fluid.                   SCOLIOSIS The term scoliosis refers to Sideway curvature of the spine. The spine of a scoliotic patient curves either to the  left or right side of the body. Thus, the spine curves laterally. The curve can be a single curve, like "C" shape or a double curve, like "S" shape.  Scoliosis can affect both the thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine.(thoracolumbar scoliosis)  It can be caused by some disease condition, but most of diagnosed scoliosis has an unknown cause.(idiopathic). The scoliosis on the right side of the body, that's when the patient lean to the right side of the body, is referred to as DEXTROSCOLIOSIS and that on the left side of the body is called LEVOCONVEX scoliosis.
