The president of St John of God college of health, formerly known as physiotherapy and Orthotics training school[Edward FOSU Quarshie ] has made it clear that the forthcoming SRC Week Celebration of his time would be second to none.
Speaking to Blogger Thomas Adjei Bio, the president of the school said, there has been numerous changes and newly added activities in the forthcoming SRC Week which remains extraordinary compared to the previous SRC week celebration the College has ever had and therefore regarded his tenure as unique and the best among all.
He elaborated on some of his outstanding vision towards the celebration and urges the entire students of the College to execute full comportment towards the attainment of the goals of their administration.
"Your full cooperation and ideas are required for the success of our administration, " he added.
Speaking to the vice President, VC. Richmond Turkson, he said, it high time students are made to enjoy to the maximum expectation through the week celebration. "Sometimes it is important to entertain yourself small after all the full time engagement in Lectures with little to no rest", he added.
He stressed that students should make the celebration a part of their conversation so each and everyone including the general public would be enlightened on the plans of the SRC administration towards the week and the entire policies they set.
He then made it clear to the public about the proposed outline for the celebration and disclosed the Theme for the celebration as follows.
There would be a full Nine (9) day week celebration which would commence on Saturday of the first week and ends on Sunday of the subsequent week. The theme is; STROKE AWARENESS BECAUSE IT MATTERS.
Below are the numerous proposed activities which would be undertaken during the week.
DAY 1- Saturday
On the Saturday Morning would be Games⚽🏀⛹⚽🏸🏀
DAY2- Sunday
On Sunday after all the excitements on the Saturday, would be the Launching🔔 📢📢📢of the week celebration @ the ST. John of God Catholic Church⛪⛪
And in the evening of the same day would be Setting of BORNE FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥🧯🎇 followed by a full time JAMS🔊🔊🕺💃💃💃💃
DAY3-Monday
On Monday would be Floating. We would educate the public on the Theme for the celebration🎓📢
Remember, in the evening of the same day, there's going to be a fantastic Program dubbed MOVIE NIGHT📺📺 🎥🎥🍿🎦
& INDOOR GAMES🎮🎮🎮
DAY4- Tuesday
There would either be Quiz competition* between the college and some other selected schools, in the morning🧠🧠🧠 and in the evening would be another intriguing event dubbed "talent show" 🎮🎮🎮💃🎤🎤😜🃏😜, where there would be exhibition of hidden talents in students. That day, you would see the President Himself on display. As this is going on, Another enviable, and ever cherished program titled "FACE OF PHYSIO"👩🏫👨🏫 May also come to your door step.
DAY5- Wednesday
On this day, would be a day of praise and dance.
"Gospel rock show"* 🎤🕺🗣🗣 where students will be in cultural outfits 🥰🥰🥰
It would be fantastic, don't talk at all, just keep mute and wait 🙊🙊.
DAY6- Thursday
The whole of this day would be exhausted for an excursion to an enviable tourist site 🏇🚞🚍🚎🚋🚍. Excursion to Eastern region where they will visit the boti water falls, Akosombo Dam and have fun at any nearest beach centre.
DAY7- Friday
There would be rest from the excursion, so "no program in the morning", but in the evening, there would be dinner😋🥧🎂🥮🍷🍺 and Jams💃💃🔊🔊🔊
DAY8- 🎱 Saturday
This day would be Durbar👑👑👑👑 and the very day that will climaxes the week celebration
DAY9- Sunday
On this day would be thanksgiving🛐🛐⛪
We will join the catholic church for thanks giving. .
It is our responsibility to hype the program
